Account deletion

You can request the deletion of your PolyGrants account and personal data at any time. This page explains how and what happens next.
How to request deletion
Send an email to privacy@polygrants.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject 'Account deletion'. We may ask you to confirm the request from within the application to verify your identity.
What happens
- your access is disabled as soon as the request is confirmed;
- your profile, dossier, documents, messages and submissions are permanently deleted within 30 days;
- residual copies are purged from encrypted backups within 90 days;
- data we must keep to comply with a legal obligation is retained only as long as that obligation requires, then deleted.
Irreversibility
Deletion is permanent. Applications already transmitted to institutions at your request are held by those institutions under their own policies; you can contact them directly to exercise your rights there.

If a problem with the service motivates your request, contact support@polygrants.com first; we may be able to resolve it. You can also download your data beforehand (see Access to your data).
